| Dear Friends of Dream Haiti,
First, we want to say thank you to each one of you that has been great pillars to this amazing ministry that God ordained. Without you, our team in Haiti, our Community ambassadors (CA) and our board, we would not be able to come as far as we have this year. We are so thankful that God has blessed you to bless Dream Haiti in so many ways.
Here are a few updates and goals we are working toward. We know that you are praying with us and we will remind you again that your continued prayers mean so much to us at Dream Haiti. This year we have completed phase I, and are nearing completion of Phase II, which will enable us to open our school in September. What a great accomplishment that you yourself can also take joy in! Our team on the ground in Haiti are working right now to smooth out the walls, hire teachers and get documentation/ student registration done. And here in the states, we are working to secure funding from different sources to help with costs and further develop the sponsorship program for our incoming students.
As another exciting development, we are looking for interns to help stateside, one as an Office Assistant and one as a Graphic & Social Media Intern. One of the Dream Haiti pillars in Haiti, Esclane Succes, left us on April 25th, 2018 to be with the Lord. We are asking each and everyone of you to lift her family in prayer, especially her kids and Ismail & Bethany. Please pray for strength for the family to continue with even more resolve the work being done in Haiti.
Her presence will be missed in the ministry as she was Ismail’s dear mother, one of our great cooks, and a humble servant who always helped the ministry in any way she could. Pray that God sends another great mother for the ministry.
